Concert Promoter Intern (unpaid position):

Each month we have concerts in the Fallout Urban Arts Center. Each concert is family friendly and is geared towards building connections with the local art community and supporting artists in our neighborhoods.

Duties

• Adhere to and actively promote the mission and values of the Fallout Arts Initiative.
• Adhere to FAI safety procedures and policies at all times.
• Complete tasks as assigned by the FAI rental manager.
• Connect with local artists and build relationships.
• Promote the FAI venue to local artists and the community.
• Schedule monthly performances and concerts.
• Advertise for upcoming concerts and the artists.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years experience working within the music industry in some capacity.
• Experience in working with social media promotion (instagram, facebook).
• Healthy communication skills: face-to-face, online, and over the phone.
• A desire to be actively involved in the community of South Minneapolis.
• A positive and uplifting attitude in working with a team.
• Basic knowldge of the music industry.
• Interest in working in the music industry in the future.
• Passionate about people and music.
